MicroLubrol™ ARMASIL™ Airgun Oil is a truly high-performance 100% silicone oil, formulated with a more complex molecular structure for high-temperature, high-shear, and high-compression applications — exactly the conditions inside a PCP or spring-piston airgun.

Unlike common PDMS silicone oils, ARMASIL's specially engineered molecules give it greater resistance to shear, heat, compression, and chemical breakdown, so it holds up under repeated cycling without degrading. It's completely neutral and unreactive, so it won't damage any metal parts, and it's compatible with most rubbers and elastomers (natural rubber, Buna-N, Nitrile, Butyl, EPDM, Neoprene, Silastic, Viton, Chemraz) as well as common plastics (Nylon, Polypropylene, Polyurethane, Polycarbonate, Polyacrylate, PTFE/Teflon, and more).

Critically, this is NOT an automotive-grade oil and contains no petroleum distillates or synthetic petroleum-based (PAO) oils — petroleum-based lubricants lack the high-shear, high-temp resistance of true silicone oil and can "diesel" or tar under the high compression found in airguns and airsoft mechanisms.
